"trinetra" (Sarjeant, 1966c, p.199-200, pl.22, fig.3; text-fig.51) Below, 1990, p.65.  Holotype: Sarjeant, 1966c, pl.22, fig.3.  Originally Netrelytron, subsequently Kalyptea, thirdly PareodiniaTaxonomic senior synonym: Netrelytron (as and now Kalyptea) stegastum, according to Poulsen (1996, p.61).  Taxonomic junior synonym: Netrelytron parum, according to Wiggins (1975, p.110) - however, Netrelytron parum is now considered a taxonomic junior synonym of Netrelytron (now Kalyptea) stegastumSarjeant (1966c) stated that the epithet was derived from the Greek tri = three and netron = spindle.  Since Principle 5 of the I.C.N. states that taxon names are to be treated as Latin and since compound epithets are conventionally treated as adjectives, the epithet should be rendered as trinetra in agreement with the feminine gender of the generic name.  Age: mid Barremian.
