Holotype: Eisenack, 1958a, pl.23, fig.9; Jan du Chêne et al., 1986a, pl.10, figs.1-2. Taxonomic junior synonym: Apteodinium thelium, according to Jan du Chêne et al. (1986a, p.46) - however, Sarjeant in Lentin and Williams (1989, p.21) retained Apteodinium thelium. Age: Aptian.
