caulleryi (Deflandre, 1939a, p.189, pl.11, figs.2–3) Williams and Downie, 1969, p.17.  Emendation: Stancliffe and Sarjeant, 1990, p.200, as Adnatosphaeridium caulleryi.  Holotype: Deflandre, 1939a, pl.11, fig.2; Stancliffe and Sarjeant, 1990, pl.1, figs.3,5; Fauconnier and Masure, 2004, pl.1, figs.7–8.  Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Cannosphaeropsis, thirdly (and now) Adnatosphaeridium, fourthly PolystephanephorusStancliffe and Sarjeant (1990, p.200) retained this species in Adnatosphaeridium.  This combination was not validly published in Williams and Downie (1966c, p.218), since these authors did not fully reference the basionym.  Age: early Oxfordian.
