Holotype: Duxbury, 1977, pl.11, figs.1,6; text-fig.3; Jan du Chêne et al., 1986a, pl.111, figs.9–10; Fensome et al., 1995, figs.1–2 — p.1511. NOW Athigmatocysta. Originally (and now) Athigmatocysta, subsequently Endoscrinium, thirdly Scriniodinium. Stover and Williams (1987, p.27) also proposed this combination. Age: late Berriasian–mid Barremian.
