Originally Cyclonephelium, subsequently Aptea, thirdly (and now) Pseudoceratium. Taxonomic senior synonym: Aptea polymorpha, according to Cookson and Eisenack (1974, p.74) — however, Below (1981a, p.7) retained Aptea eisenackii. Age: late Albian.
