Originally Bipolaribucina?, subsequently Distatodinium, thirdly (and now) Songiella. Questionable assignment: He Chengquan, Zhu Shenzhao and Jin Guangxing in He Chengquan et al. (1989, p.39). Taxonomic senior synonym: Membranilarnacia paucitubata, according to Mao Shaozhi et al. (1995, p.44) — however, He Chengquan et al. (2009, p.366) retained this species as Songiella biornata. Age: Early Tertiary.
