Originally Dictyocha?, subsequently Dictyocha subgenus Actiniscus, thirdly Actiniscus, fourthly and now) Actiniscus? Ehrenberg (1839a, p.129) provided the plate citation indicated here, but location of a pertinent specimen is not obvious in the plate. N.I.A. Age: Pliocene.
