Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Baltisphaeridium (Appendix A), thirdly Hystrichokolpoma, fourthly Silicisphaera, fifthly (and now) Florentinia. This combination was not validly published in Williams and Downie (1966a, p.181), since these authors did not fully reference the basionym. Age: Senonian.
