A tabulation type in which the cingulum separates the theca into a "gonyaulacoid-peridinioid" episome and a "dinophysioid" hyposome. The episome is divisible into two latitudinal series of plates and an apical pore complex. The sagittal suture on the hyposome, which separates two large lateral plates, H2 and H3, splits midventrally, the resultant suture encircling the cell along the posterior boundary of the cingulum. See also gonyaulacoid-peridinioid tabulation type and dinophysioid tabulation type. Refer to Text-Figure 9D.
