In the Taylor-Evitt tabulation system, when a primary plate is subdivided transversely (in an anticlockwise direction when viewed from the apex), the distal subdivision is termed ulter. Equivalent to sinister in the Taylor tabulation model. Designated by "u". See also initialis and medialis.
