"<nowiki>*</nowiki><I><B>trisulcum</B></I>" [[Deunff, 1951]], p.323, caption to text-fig.3 ex [[Deunff, 1959]], p.27-28, pl.1, figs.1-4,8,10,12-14,16-17,20,22-23.&nbsp; Holotype: [[Deunff, 1959]], pl.1, fig.4 (see [[Fensome et al., 1990]], p.526).&nbsp; Originally <I>[[Hystrichosphaeridium trisulcum]]</I> (name not validly published), subsequently <I>Veryhachium trisulcum</I> (name not validly published), thirdly <I>Veryhachium trisulcum</I>, fourthly <I>[[Veryhachium trispinosum subsp. trisulcum Appendix A|Veryhachium trispinosum]]</I> subsp. <I>[[Veryhachium trispinosum subsp. trisulcum Appendix A|trisulcum]]</I> (combination not validly published, Appendix A).&nbsp; <B>Taxonomic senior synonym</B>: <I>[[Hystrichosphaeridium trispinosum|Hystrichosphaeridium]]</I> (now <I>[[Veryhachium trispinosum Appendix A|Veryhachium]]</I>) <I>[[Hystrichosphaeridium trispinosum|trispinosum]]</I>, according to [[Stancliffe and Sarjeant, 1994|Stancliffe and Sarjeant (1994]], p.233).&nbsp; The nomenclatural type of the genus <I>Veryhachium</I> remains the holotype of <I>[[Hystrichosphaeridium trisulcum|Hystrichosphaeridium]]</I> (subsequently <I>Veryhachium</I>) <I>[[Hystrichosphaeridium trisulcum|trisulcum]]</I>.&nbsp; The names <I>[[Hystrichosphaeridium trisulcum]]</I> and <I>Veryhachium trisulcum</I> were not validly published respectively in [[Deunff, 1951|Deunff (1951]], caption to text-fig.3) and [[Deunff, 1954b|Deunff (1954b]], p.306), since no description was provided in the former publication and no illustration was provided in the latter publication.&nbsp; This name was not validly published in [[Deunff, 1954b|Deunff (1954b]], p.306) since no illustration was provided.&nbsp; The name <I>[[Hystrichosphaeridium trisulcum]]</I> was not validly published in [[Deunff, 1951|Deunff (1951]], p.323) since no description was provided.&nbsp; [[Cramer and Diez, 1979|Cramer and Diez (1979]], p.47) considered <I>Veryhachium trisulcum</I> (or <I>[[Veryhachium trispinosum Appendix A|Veryhachium trispinosum]]</I>) to be the possible taxonomic senior synonym of <I>[[Hystrichosphaeridium monacanthum|Hystrichosphaeridium]]</I> (now <I>[[Deunffia monacantha Appendix A|Deunffia]]</I>) <I>[[Hystrichosphaeridium monacanthum|monacanthum]]</I>.&nbsp; [[Beju, 1972|Beju (1972]], p.718) and [[Tynni, 1976|Tynni (1976]], p.38) misspelled the specific epithet as "<I>trisulcatum</I>".&nbsp; Age: Mid Ordovician.
