Holotype: Deflandre and Cookson, 1955, pl.4, fig.1. Combination illegitimate: the generic name Alterbia is illegitimate. NOW Isabelidinium. Originally Deflandrea, subsequently Isabelia (combination illegitimate), thirdly (and now) Isabelidinium, fourthly Alterbia (combination illegitimate). Age: Paleocene–early Eocene.
