NOW Enneadocysta. Originally Areosphaeridium, subsequently (and now) Enneadocysta. Taxonomic senior synonym: Baltisphaeridium (now Enneadocysta) pectiniforme, according to Sarjeant (1984b, p.83–84,86) — however, Stover and Williams (1995, p.112) retained Areosphaeridium (as Enneadocysta) multicornutum. Age: Eocene.
