Originally Cleistosphaeridium elegans He Chengquan (name illegitimate), subsequently Cleistosphaeridium xinjiangense, thirdly (and now) Impletosphaeridium xinjiangense. Substitute name for Cleistosphaeridium elegans He Chengquan, 1991, p.141–142, pl.24, figs.5–6; text-fig.27 (an illegitimate name). Age: Paleocene.
