Citation: Amoebophryaceae J. Cachon, 1964 ex Loeblich III, 1970. Diagnosis:Syndinialeans in which the multinucleate trophont is highly organized, developing firstly into a form with a large, bee-hive shaped cavity (the mastigocoel) with a narrow orifice, and subsequently into a worm-like multiflagellate swimming stage (the vermiform).
