Originally Baltisphaeridium (Appendix A), subsequently Spiniferites, thirdly (and now) Hafniasphaera, fourthly Achomosphaera, fifthly Rivernookia. Williams et al. (1998, p.261) retained this species in Hafniasphaera. Age: late Paleocene.
