NOW Kleithriasphaeridium. Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Cordosphaeridium, thirdly (and now) Kleithriasphaeridium. Taxonomic junior synonym: Hystrichosphaeridium (as Kleithriasphaeridium) simplicispinum, according to Below (1982c, p.17). Age: late Albian.
