Originally Membranilarnax, subsequently Samlandia, thirdly (and now) Membranilarnacia. Taxonomic junior synonym: Samlandia solida (name not validly published), according to May (1980, p.24) — however, see discussion under Samlandia solida. Age: Eocene.
