Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Polysphaeridium?, thirdly Dapsilidinium?, fourthly (and now) Beaumontella. Questionable assignment: Riley and Sarjeant (1972, p.3). Age: Hettangian–early Sinemurian.
