Diagnosis:Peridiniaceans in which the episomal tabulation is bipesioid and the Kofoid second anterior intercalary plate is hexa (i.e. six-sided). The cyst wall is composed of dinosporin and lacks a calcareous layer (or layers). The archeopyle is centred about the apical region.
