Holotype: Cookson and Eisenack, 1958, pl.5, fig.7. Originally Ceratocystidiopsis (Appendix A), subsequently Pseudoceratium, thirdly (and now) Endoceratium. Lentin and Williams (1989, p.126) retained this species in Endoceratium.
