Holotype: Eisenack, 1958a, pl.26, fig.7. NOW Achomosphaera. Originally Baltisphaeridium (Appendix A), subsequently (and now) Achomosphaera, thirdly Achomosphaera?, fourthly Spiniferites, fifthly Florentinia?. For etymology see under Achomosphaera. Age: Early Cretaceous.
