Holotype: Cookson and Eisenack, 1958, pl.5, fig.7. Originally Ceratocystidiopsis (Appendix A), subsequently Pseudoceratium, thirdly (and now) Endoceratium. Lentin and Williams (1989, p.126) retained this species in Endoceratium. This combination was not validly published in Vozzhennikova (1965, p.89), since that author did not fully reference the basionym. Age: Albian.
