"tertiarius" (Eisenack and Gocht, 1960, p.515; text-fig.4) Lentin and Williams, 1973, p.131. Holotype: Eisenack and Gocht, 1960, text-fig.4. Originally Hystrichosphaera, subsequently Spiniferites. Taxonomic senior synonym: Hystrichokibotium (now Spiniferites) pseudofurcatum, according to Gocht (1969, p.32) and Sarjeant (1970, p.76). Age: Oligocene.
