NOW Cordosphaeridium?. Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Achomosphaera, thirdly Lanternosphaeridium, fourthly (and now) Cordosphaeridium?, fifthly Spiniferites?. Questionable assignment: Sarjeant (1981, p.123). N.I.A. Age: Early Cretaceous.
