Holotype: Riegel, 1974, pl.1, fig.7; Sarjeant et al., 1987, pl.2, fig.2. Originally Deflandrea, subsequently Senegalinium, thirdly Ceratiopsis (combination illegitimate), fourthly Phelodinium, fifthly (and now) Cerodinium. Age: ?Senonian.
