Holotype: Gerlach, 1961, pl.28, fig.14; Sarjeant, 1984b, pl.1, fig.2; pl.4, fig.2; Fauconnier and Masure, 2004, pl.7, figs.4–5. NOW Enneadocysta. Originally Baltisphaeridium (Appendix A), subsequently Cleistosphaeridium, thirdly Areosphaeridium?, fourthly Areosphaeridium, fifthly (and now) Enneadocysta.
