"subtilis" He Chengquan in Zheng Yahui and He Chengquan, 1984, p.90-91, pl.6, figs.1-6; pl.10, figs.1-2. Holotype: Zheng Yahui and He Chengquan, 1984, pl.6, fig.3. NOW Alterbidinium. Originally Alterbia (generic name illegitimate), subsequently (and now) Alterbidinium. Following I.C.B.N. Article 55.1, the species name Alterbia subtilis is validly published even though the generic name Alterbia is illegitimate. Age: Campanian.
