Originally Deflandrea speciosa forma glabra, subsequently Deflandrea speciosa subsp. glabra, thirdly Ceratiopsis speciosa subsp. glabra (combination illegitimate), fourthly (and now) Cerodinium speciosum subsp. glabrum.
