Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Baltisphaeridium (Appendix A), thirdly Multiplicisphaeridium (Appendix A), fourthly (and now) Hapsidopalla. Questionable assignment: Sarjeant and Vavrdova (1997, p.25). Sarjeant and Vavrdova (1997, p.25) postulated that this species may represent muellerisphaerids. Age: Devonian (Late Givetian).
