Holotype: Filatoff, 1975, pl.29, fig.14; Stover and Helby, 1987a, figs.11L-M. Originally Evansia, subsequently Evansia?, thirdly Phallocysta, fourthly Andreedinium, fifthly (and now) Phallocysta?. This species was retained in Phallocysta by Riding (1994, p.14). Questionable assignment: Riding (1994, p.14). Age: Bajocian.
