Pirumella loeblichii

loeblichii (Bolli, 1974, p.853-854, pl.3, figs.1-4; pl.11, figs.9-12; pl.12, figs.1-3; pl.22, fig.1) Lentin and Williams, 1993, p.518.  Holotype: Bolli, 1974, pl.3, figs.1-2; pl.11, figs.9-10; pl.22, fig.1.  Originally Pithonella, subsequently Obliquipithonella, thirdly (and now) Pirumella.  Taxonomic senior synonym: Pithonella helentappaniae, according to Keupp (1979c, p.23) - however, Keupp (1981, p.60) retained Pirumella (as Pithonella) loeblichii.  Taxonomic junior synonyms: Pithonella bollii, Pithonella megalithica and Pithonella nonarenziae, all according to Keupp (1981, p.60) - however, Zügel (1994, p.66) retained Pithonella (as Obliquipithonella) nonarenziae.  Age: ?Late Aptian-Mid Albian.
