Combination not validly published: basionym not fully referenced.  NOW Selenopemphix.  Originally (and now) Selenopemphix, subsequently Protoperidinium subgenus Protoperidinium section Selenopemphix (combination not validly published).  Harland in Harland et al. (1991, p.653-654) included Protoperidinium (now Selenopemphix) harpeza in this section.  Bradford and Wall (1984, p.49) included Protoperidinium (now Omanodinium) tholus in this section.  Type: Benedek, 1972, pl.11, fig.13, as Selenopemphix nephroides.
