Neotype: Wetzel, 1961, pl.2, fig.1, designated by Sarjeant (1985b, p.139). This name was not validly published in Wetzel (1932, p.136), since that author did not designate a holotype, a requirement at that time under the I.C.Z.N. Age: Cretaceous (erratic).
