Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Baltisphaeridium (Appendix A), thirdly (and now) Visbysphaera, fourthly Multiplicisphaeridium (Appendix A). Priewalder (1987, p.63) retained this species in Visbysphaera. Age: Silurian (Late Llandovery).
