Holotype: Deflandre and Cookson, 1955, pl.3, fig.14. Originally Epicephalopyxis (Appendix A), subsequently (and now) Wanaea. Taxonomic junior synonym: Wanaea clathtabilis (name not validly published), according to Riding and Helby (2001b, p.43). Age: Oxfordian.
