Actiniscus elegans

elegans (Ehrenberg, 1840a) Ehrenberg, 1854, pl.22, fig.31.  Holotype: Ehrenberg, 1854, pl.22, fig.31.  Originally Dictyocha (Appendix A), subsequently (and now) Actiniscus.  Dumitrică (1973, p.822) considered Dictyocha (now Actiniscus) pentasterias to be the questionable taxonomic senior synonym of this species.  Age: Pliocene.
