(as Phoberocysta) neocomica, by implication in Monteil (1991b, p.476), who considered Muderongia tomaszowensis to be the senior name — however, this synonymy has not been generally followed; Muderongia simplex, according to Jain and Khowaja-Ateequzzaman (1984, p.39) and Poulsen (1996, p.59) — however, Riding et al. (2001, p.31) retained Muderongia tomaszowensis. Age: Valanginian.
